Description

Southern Deviled Eggs are a scrumptious twist on the classic appetizer, featuring a creamy filling with a perfect balance of tanginess. Ideal for any occasion, these deviled eggs will wow your guests while being effortless to prepare.


Ingredients

  • 12 hard-boiled eggs
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1½ tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot covered with water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10-12 minutes. Cool in ice water before peeling.
  2. Slice each egg in half lengthwise and remove the yolks into a mixing bowl. Mash the yolks until smooth.
  3. Add mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, mustard, salt, and pepper to the yolks; mix until well combined.
  4. Spoon or pipe the filling back into each egg white half and sprinkle paprika on top.
  5. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
