- ¼ tsp Baking Soda
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Butter
- ½ cup Hot Water (or as needed)
- Refined Oil (for deep frying)
- For Cinnamon Sugar Coating: ½ cup Caster Sugar
- 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare the cinnamon sugar by mixing caster sugar and ground cinnamon in a bowl; set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, and butter. Gradually add hot water while mixing until moistened. Knead until smooth and let rest for 5 minutes before dividing into small balls.
