Ingredients
- 1 box white or yellow cake mix (13.25 oz.)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 58 M&Ms (or 2 per cookie cup)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix and flour. Add melted butter, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
- Roll dough into small balls (about 1 inch) and coat in sugar; place on the prepared baking sheet. Create an indentation in each ball with your thumb.
- Bake for 14 minutes until lightly golden; let cool slightly before transferring to a muffin tin.
- For the ganache, heat heavy cream until simmering and pour over white chocolate chips; stir until smooth.
- Fill cooled cookie cups with ganache and top with two M&Ms.
