  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix (13.25 oz.)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 58 M&Ms (or 2 per cookie cup)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix and flour. Add melted butter, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  4. Roll dough into small balls (about 1 inch) and coat in sugar; place on the prepared baking sheet. Create an indentation in each ball with your thumb.
  5. Bake for 14 minutes until lightly golden; let cool slightly before transferring to a muffin tin.
  6. For the ganache, heat heavy cream until simmering and pour over white chocolate chips; stir until smooth.
  7. Fill cooled cookie cups with ganache and top with two M&Ms.
