- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels (or 10 cups popped popcorn)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup dried apple rings, chopped
- 3/4 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces
- Optional: 1/2 cup salted peanuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pop the popcorn kernels (or use pre-popped popcorn) and place in a large mixing bowl.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, then add brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Stir until boiling.
