Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup cooked turkey bacon (chopped)
- 1 cup mushrooms (sliced and sautéed)
- 1 small onion (finely diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook turkey bacon in a frying pan until crispy; set aside. Sauté sliced mushrooms in the remaining fat until browned.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Fold in half of the Swiss cheese and shape the mixture into a loaf on a baking sheet.
- Top with remaining Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and chopped turkey bacon.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
