  • 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1 cup mushrooms (sliced and sautéed)
  • 1 small onion (finely diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook turkey bacon in a frying pan until crispy; set aside. Sauté sliced mushrooms in the remaining fat until browned.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Fold in half of the Swiss cheese and shape the mixture into a loaf on a baking sheet.
  5. Top with remaining Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and chopped turkey bacon.
  6. Bake for 45–55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
