Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together softened butter and granulated sugar until creamy. Add eggs, baking powder, and salt; mix well.
- Gradually add flour and milk alternately to the mixture, stirring until combined. Incorporate vanilla extract.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and Cool Whip until smooth; spread over cooled cake.
