Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef; drain excess fat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the baking dish, followed by half of the cooked beef and onion; pour half of the sauce over this layer.
