- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- 2/3 cup heavy cream, plus more for brushing
- Coarse sugar for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and pistachio pudding mix.
- Incorporate cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Create a well in the dry ingredients; add vanilla, egg, and half the heavy cream. Mix until combined, adding more cream as needed.
- Transfer dough to a floured surface; split into two halves. Shape each half into a rectangle and fold in chocolate.
- Cut each rectangle into triangles and place on the baking sheet. Brush tops with heavy cream and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
