  • 6 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • ½ cup butter (melted)
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a muffin pan with liners.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a stand mixer, combine mashed bananas, melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla; mix on medium speed for about 3 minutes.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture on low speed until just combined.
  5. Warm Nutella in the microwave for about 30 seconds until thinned.
  6. Fill muffin cups three-quarters full with batter; add a teaspoon of warmed Nutella to each and swirl gently.
  7. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a rack.
