- 2 apples, peeled and finely chopped
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 pieces)
- 8 pieces caramel candy
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Prepare the Apple Filling: Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Sauté the chopped apples for 5-7 minutes until softened. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt; cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until fragrant. Let cool.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the biscuit dough into individual pieces. Place spoonfuls of cooled apple filling on each piece and top with caramel candy. Seal tightly and roll into balls.
- Place on the baking sheet seam-side down, brush with melted butter, and bake for 18-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool on a wire rack for 10-15 minutes before serving.
