  • 2 pounds ground beef (80%-90% lean) or ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup beef broth or milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 cup ketchup or BBQ sauce
  • Light brown sugar for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet or loaf pan with foil and spray lightly with non-stick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, broth, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf on the baking sheet or place it into the loaf pan.
  4. For the glaze, mix ketchup (or BBQ sauce) with light brown sugar and spread over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for about 45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
