  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 small onion (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 6 slices prosciutto
  • 6 slices Provolone cheese or 1 cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, onion, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  4. Spread the meat mixture into a rectangle about 12 by 7 inches on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Layer spinach over the meat mixture, followed by prosciutto and cheese slices.
  6. Roll up the meat tightly from one of the shorter sides using the foil or parchment paper.
  7. Bake for approximately 25 minutes until fully cooked through.
  8. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
