  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp sugar (for cream cheese mixture)

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. 2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. 3. In a large bowl, beat softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
  4. 4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined; gently fold in chopped strawberries.
  5. 5. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar until smooth.
  6. 6. Scoop cookie dough onto prepared baking sheets and create wells in each mound; drop about one teaspoon of cream cheese mixture into each well.
