- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves

- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette diagonally into half-inch pieces and arrange them on a baking sheet. Brush lightly with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Toast the baguette slices in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- While the bread is toasting, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for one minute until fragrant.
- Add chopped mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about five minutes until tender. Stir in fresh thyme and cook for another minute.
- Remove the toasted baguette from the oven. Top each slice with a generous spoonful of the mushroom mixture and sprinkle with grated Gruyere cheese.
- Return the bruschetta to the oven for another 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve warm.
