- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 1 lb beef sirloin, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Season the beef with salt and pepper and sear for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed, then sauté the onion and garlic for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the beef broth and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add heavy cream and stir until well combined.
- Return the steak to the skillet along with the cooked pasta, tossing everything together until coated in sauce.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
