  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Season the beef with salt and pepper and sear for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed, then sauté the onion and garlic for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add heavy cream and stir until well combined.
  5. Return the steak to the skillet along with the cooked pasta, tossing everything together until coated in sauce.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
