- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and half of the Italian seasoning. Sear for about 6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, scraping up brown bits from the pan. Bring to a simmer and stir in parmesan cheese until melted.
- Cook rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and mix with the creamy sauce and sliced chicken until well coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional parmesan if desired.
