  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (plus extra for topping)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon agar-agar powder
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in the flour until combined.
  3. Press the crust mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
