  • 2 ½ cups white sugar
  • 4 ½ cups water

  2. Place the lemon peels in a jar with the grain alcohol and seal tightly. Allow to infuse for at least 7 days (up to 3 weeks) away from sunlight.

  4. Mix the infused alcohol with the cooled syrup in a large container, adjusting sweetness to taste.
