  • 1 lb yakisoba or linguine noodles, cooked al dente
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin or rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles in boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large wok or skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  3. Whisk together soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, mirin, and brown sugar in a bowl. Pour into the pan and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add cooked noodles to the sauce; toss to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Drizzle sesame oil over the noodles and sprinkle with sesame seeds; toss again.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.
