  • 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 & 3/4 cup flour
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 9 Halloween Oreos
  • 1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the slightly softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt; mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles.
  6. Scoop about 1/4 cup of dough, flatten it slightly, place an Oreo in the center, fold the dough over it, then roll to seal.
  7. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes (they should look slightly underdone).
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
