- 1 lb smoked sausage or Italian sausage
- 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 3 tbsp butter (divided)
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Brown sliced sausage for about 4-5 minutes; remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Return sausage to the skillet, adding Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain.
- In a saucepan, melt remaining butter over medium heat. Stir in heavy cream and garlic powder; whisk in Parmesan until smooth.
- Toss cooked pasta with the creamy sauce until well coated.
- Serve sausage bites over pasta and garnish with fresh parsley.
