  • 1 cup fresh peaches, peeled and diced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently; fold in diced peaches.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a heavy-bottom pot to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Drain excess oil on paper towels and prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar with milk and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Drizzle glaze over warm fritters before serving.
