  • 1 lb Sirloin or Ribeye Steak
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes, halved
  • 8 oz Fresh Mozzarella Balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Marinate the steak in this mixture for at least 1 hour in the fridge.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (400°F).
  4. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness.
  5. While grilling, combine halved cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, basil leaves, and a splash of balsamic vinegar in a bowl.
  6. Once cooked, let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain. Top with the Caprese mixture and drizzle any remaining marinade over it.
