Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅙ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream or milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9” round cake pan with foil and spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until creamy. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
- Gradually incorporate the baking soda, salt, cream of tartar, and flour into the mixture.
- Fold in M&Ms and sprinkles until evenly distributed.
- Press the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 19-22 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Let cool completely before frosting.
- For frosting, beat softened butter until smooth, gradually mix in powdered sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and heavy cream until creamy.
