Instructions

  2. Place the lemon zest in a large glass jar and pour alcohol over it. Seal tightly and let infuse in a dark place for 3 to 6 weeks, shaking gently every few days.

  4. Combine the cooled syrup with the infused alcohol, stirring well.
  5. Reseal the jar and let rest for another week before straining through a fine mesh strainer.
