Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 ounces) garbanzo beans/chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
  • 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dill weed
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin
  • 23 tablespoons reserved chickpea water

Instructions

  1. Prepare by draining and rinsing the chickpeas, chopping the dill pickles, and measuring liquids.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients along with two tablespoons of reserved chickpea water.
  3. Blend until smooth; adjust consistency by adding more chickpea water if needed.
  4. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate. Enjoy within five days.
