  • 5 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together salted butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add the whole egg and egg yolk, mixing well.
  3. Gradually incorporate icing sugar into the mixture until fully blended.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add this to the wet ingredients while mixing on low speed.
  5. Fold in chopped pecans gently using a rubber spatula.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 60 minutes or until golden brown on top.
