Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts, diced
- 250g orzo pasta
- 200ml heavy cream
- 60g grated Parmesan cheese
- 200g broccoli florets
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear for 5-6 minutes until golden and cooked through; set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add orzo pasta and stir continuously for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and simmer for about 8 minutes until orzo absorbs most of the liquid.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and broccoli. Cook for another 5-6 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the pan, mix well, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
