- 3 cups water (divided, or as needed)
Instructions
- Boil the eggs in a large saucepan covered with cold water. Bring to a boil, turn off the heat, cover, and let sit for 20 minutes.
- Cool the eggs under cold water, then peel them.
- Halve the eggs lengthwise and separate the yolks from the whites. Mash the yolks in a bowl and mix with salad dressing, mustard, salt, pepper, and hot sauce until smooth.
- In three small bowls, mix food coloring with 1 cup of water each (red, blue, green). Soak egg whites in colored water for about 15 minutes.
- Fill each colored egg white with the yolk mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
