Instructions

  2. Add cold milk and softened butter; stir to form a shaggy dough.
  3. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and chill for at least 2 hours.
  4. Prepare the butter block by pounding it into a rectangle and keep it cold.
  5. Encapsulate the butter in rolled-out dough and create layers by rolling and folding.
  6. Shape the croissants with chocolate filling and proof for 2–3 hours.
  7. Bake at 400°F for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
