  • 12 oz chow mein noodles (uncooked)
  • 2 cups cabbage
  • 1 large carrot (julienned)
  • 1/2 batch green onions
  • 4 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp light sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp corn starch
  • 1 Tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, chicken broth, corn starch, and sugar. Set aside.
  2. Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. Heat oil in a large wok over medium heat. Add bite-sized chicken strips and cook until golden brown; remove from pan.
  4. In the same pan, sauté carrots, cabbage, and garlic until slightly softened.
  5. Return chicken and noodles to the pan; pour the prepared sauce over everything and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve hot garnished with chopped green onions.
