  • 3 large eggs

  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ¾ cup water
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chips (for topping)
  • ¼ cup heavy cream (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, mix eggs and sugar until smooth; then add oil and water.
  3. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, stirring until just blended. Fold in milk chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for approximately 85 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
