  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 ounce onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, crumble the ground beef and add breadcrumbs, onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, beaten egg, salt, black pepper, and milk. Mix gently until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, prepare the sauce by combining ketchup, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar. Spread half of this mixture in a loaf pan.
  4. Transfer the meat mixture into the loaf pan and shape it firmly. Brush the remaining sauce over the top.
  5. Bake for about 70 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
  6. Allow resting for five minutes before slicing and serving.
