Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 48 ounces white chocolate almond bark
  • 6 ounces red candy melts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs; whisk until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  4. Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs and mix with softened cream cheese until a dough forms.
  5. Press about 1 tablespoon of dough into each cavity of a cakesicle mold and insert popsicle sticks. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  6. Melt white chocolate almond bark and dip each frozen cakesicle until fully coated. Place on parchment paper to harden.
  7. Melt red candy melts and flick onto the cakesicles to create the blood splatter effect.
