- 6 guajillo chilies
- 4 ancho chilies
- 3 chile de arbol
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 2 1/2 cups beef broth
- Corn tortillas for serving
Instructions
- Toast the dried chilies in a dry skillet for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Transfer them to a saucepan with onion and garlic, cover with water, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Blend the softened chilies, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, oregano, and beef broth until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
