Ingredients
- 15.25 oz white cake mix (plus ingredients on the box)
- 3 oz cherry Jello mix
- 3 oz berry blue Jello mix
- 2 cups boiling water (divided)
- 1 cup cold water (divided)
- 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
- ½ cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare the cake mix in a 9×13 pan according to package instructions. Bake and let cool for 15 minutes.
- In separate bowls, dissolve cherry and berry blue jello mixes in boiling water; add cold water to each and set aside.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake using a wooden spoon. Alternate spooning cherry and berry blue jello into the holes.
- Cover cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
- Spread Cool Whip over the top of the set jello. Garnish with strawberries and blueberries arranged in a flag pattern.
- Slice into squares and serve chilled.
